Thursday was thanksgiving a day of happiness and joy to be with your family. Friday was "Black Friday," the day where people wait till midnight to the best deals in the retail stores for their christmas list. People are ridiculous and fight to get a certain game or a toy or this or that. They will break peoples arms and some bring pepper spray to ward off the competition. This is the one day that if you work at a store, that you better be sick.
I honestly find it insane that people will go to such extent to get a product. That is why i wait till cyber monday. Cyber monday is the black friday of the internet where people go onto all the retail store sights or on amazon and order everything that they want. It is honestly the better choice to do because your computer isn't going to jump at you and punch you in the face.
I think it is also very crazy that some people do what they do for certain items. In my response to your idea of waiting til cyber monday, I feel as if many people do not like to rely on internet sources, but rather themselves to get the item in their hands right away. Shipping and handling sometimes does not do the best, as well as relying on the pictures of the items your buying.
ReplyDeleteI can see why people go crazy over this day, the low prices, the low supply of products, and the impatient customers waiting for the doors to open up. To me, black friday should not exist. It lowers the significance of Thanksgiving because people focus more on the stores they plan to go to instead of spending the time with their families.
